A Korean remake of the series is also in the works, with Park Hae-soo of Squid Game playing a key role.
Is a Money Heist sequel in the works?
Yes! Netflix is developing a spinoff of Money Heist. According to Deadline, the event will take place in Berlin (Pedro Alonso). The working title is “Berlin.” We don’t know what the spinoff will be about or who will be involved. Without a doubt, it will be a prequel. Other characters from Money Heist may appear in the upcoming Netflix original series, which we hope to see.
